Recently watched a short film on UKC featuring a climbing area called Annot that lies near the Verdon gorge in the south of france. A weekend of 4 days to go in a trad climbing camp in Annot and the Verdon, it's the best way. The hardest trad climb in France was first ascended by James Pearson in 2017. But one thing they are both: world class climbing areas that in their particular style don't have to hide behind the big names overseas. The motivation comes from trying some trad climbing at RRG with some friends and experiencing how fun it was!
